We just got back from the National Worship Leader Conference in Austin, Tx. We were invited to teach a seminar on video stuff, along with the guys from Eleven 72 (Lee and Storme) and the Igniter team (Jeff, Kent, and the other guy).
We were honored to be there, and met some truly remarkable leaders, pastors, and volunteers. We all agreed that the term “media guy” can’t be defined, but you know him/her when you meet them.
I was personally challenged to strive for excellence in my videos more–not to get them done just so they can get some quick downloads–but to really take pain and time to get it right.
Thanks to Jason Rowe, a partner at Floodgate, for making the trip with me. Sometimes, just having a friend in an unknown place is all I need.
