Gary Molander

I’ve been married to Angela since 1989, and I’m the proud father of three girls: Lindsey, Allison, and Sydney. I served as a Pastor for 17 years in the local church, and I’m committed to the pursuit of God through the use of media, music, and the creative arts. I’d be honored if you followed me on my blog, or on Twitter.  Here’s a little more information about me…

Name: Gary Molander

What do you do at Floodgate?
I do most of the video stuff, write articles and scripts, and tell Lorrie, “Yes Ma’am. I’ll do that.” I also post all of our products to our online store.

What is the best thing about your job?
We actually have our videos viewed by over 100,000 people per month. Most of the videos that show in churches are communicating the quality of life we can have, in Christ. To have that kind of impact every week is an amazing thing, and it’s definitely the best thing about my job.

What are three words that describe you?
Handsome. Witty. Humble.

What would you do with 1,000 plastic spoons?
Create a collage for a church’s building campaign. One spoon would become a part of this grand collage for every $1000 donated. The larger the donation, the larger the spoon. Million dollar gifts would have the last name of the donor engraved onto the spoon, all done in accordance with Jesus’ teaching on giving: “Let not your right hand know…”.

What did you do want to be you were in the 2nd grade?
Hispanic. Seriously, my best friend was Hispanic, and his parents always offered me food.
